A new Democratic legislature would also have to give high priority to the repair of legacy state functions, long neglected by the Republican supermajority. These functions are critical to the present livability of the state, and form the foundation of our future. They include:

4. The Gun Violence Epidemic
5. Climate Change, Resiliency, and Tax Policy
6. Women’s Reproductive Freedom
7. Criminal Justice Reform
